The Nature of Design - Inspiration Cactus
My family and I set out on our Saturday morning hike today, except this time I was armed with the camera looking for the beautiful designs to be found out on the trail. I was instantly drawn to this young cactus, it had the most beautiful pattern where the new barbs were pushing through, not to mention the color, a gorgeous fresh green, which always reminds me of spring.
As soon as I began to think of how you could incorporate this beautiful pattern, I thought of Ikat. First of all, I am always on the hunt for new pillows, and usually I start my new search on Etsy.com. Today I found this amazing Decorative Designer Green Pillow - Sage Green Ikat Pillow by Motif Pillows. I love this Ikat pattern and the calming sage green and ivory colors. This would look amazing in a sun room or perhaps on your patio furniture atop ivory cushions. Speaking of patios, now it's time to start the BBQ!
